Hello Showstoppers Families!
I am the owner/director/instructor of Showstoppers Dance Studio. I have owned Showstoppers for the last 26 years but have been a member since it opened 40 years ago. I have danced since I was 3 years old. I continued the love of dance throughout high school, Delta College and at UOP until I graduated in 1996 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. I have been teaching at Showstoppers since I was 13 years old, and in 1998, I bought the studio and became the sole owner, director and instructor. I have been married for 26 years and have two wonderful sons. Along with myself Eric McCoy, Isabel, Kimberlee, Peyton, Hallie and Maisie we are the instructor and/or assistants for the 2024-2025season. I pride myself on the fact that we know each student and their family, because that is what SDS is…. Family! I hope every student that enters Showstoppers leaves with more self-confidence, passion, kindness and love of dance. Always dance with Heart & Soul and show everyone Kindness!
Eric McCoy-
Hip Hop Instructor
Eric comes to us once a week from LA to teach hip hop. This is his 3rd full season teaching all our hip hop classes, but his 5th year with SDS. He is a knowledgeable and talented dancer and choreographer in his field. The dancers love his fun personality and his creative choreography. He choreographed all our competition pieces last season and is taking on more Company Team routines this season! WE are so lucky to have Mr. Eric!!
He has worked on the cast of Disney’s Shake it Up, along with Rosero McCoy, Richy Jackson, Toni Braxton, Keke Palmer and Shanice. He also has worked with Snoop Dogg, Nickelodeon and Netflix. He was a performer at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show. the 2020 Soul Train Awards, 2020 Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2020 VMA Awards, the American Music Awards. He was also a dancer in the Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande “Rain on Me” music video. He along with Monica have two beautiful children. He is a founding member of The Knuckleheads. I am so excited that he will continue as a part of the SDS staff.

4th Year Assistant
Isabel has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 12 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, tumbling and pointe. She is a Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a senior at Lodi High School. I am excited and happy to have her assisting again this year on Wednesdays with our little dancers and our Junior & Mini Company Team. She will be doing some choreography again this season.
Isabel would love to say, “I am so excited to be assisting this year because I love to see the dancers grow and improve and find their passion in dance!”

3rd Year Assistant
Peyton has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 12 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, tumbling and pointe. She is an Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a senior at Lodi High School. I am excited she will be assisting on Tuesday with all ages and Mini Company Team. She will be doing some choreography again this season!
Peyton would love to say, “After 11 years I have realized that there is truly no place like Showstoppers. The dancers and their families make it such a supportive community that turns SDS into a second home. Mrs. Wendy pours everything into her dancers and has been the biggest role model for me when growing up at this studio. There’s classes for everyone which makes this a place to fall in love with dance. I can’t imagine a better place to be when following my passion and dancing alongside my best friends.”

3rd Year Assistant
Kimberlee has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 12 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, tumbling and pointe. She is an Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a junior at Lodi High School. I am excited and happy to have her assisting this year. She will be helping on Monday again with all levels of dance and our Junior Company Team. She will also be choregraphing again this season!
Kimberlee would love to say, “I’m excited to assist again this season because I love sharing my passion for dance, as well as helping the younger dancers with skills. I’m most excited for having fun in the studio!”
~ Maisie ~
1st Year Assistant
Maisie has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 13 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pointe, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a sophomore at Lodi High School. Eric and I are excited she will be assisting on Thursday with our hip hop classes.
Maisie would like to say, “I am so excited to be assisting this season! I am extremely passionate about dance and love it! I am so excited to share my love of it with other younger dancers. I’m excited to see them grow and help them to grow in their dance skills and have the best time dancing!”

1st Year Assistant
Hallie has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 8 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pointe, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a freshman at Lodi High School. She will be an assistant on Wednesday helping with our littlest dancers.
Hallie would like to say, “I look forward to sharing my love and passion for all genres of dance to our younger SDS dancers!”

1st Year Assistant
Sydney has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 12 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pointe, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Senior member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a freshman at Lodi High School. She will be an assistant on Monday helping with our ballet/lyrical classes.
Sydney would like to say, “ I can’t wait to help out and watch the kids improve!”
